I had heard so much about this book before I finally got the chance to read it. It definitely lived up to the hype. This book was amazing!

Lucian Bane is a freelance journalist and former Dom. When he reads an ad in the paper for a reality show audition to find the world’s top Dom, he only needed the prospect of winning one million dollars to seal the deal for him.

Tara finds herself in line to audition for Dom Wars. She’s determined to win this million dollars so she can help her sick grandmother return home to her. Tara is her “own Dom”. Naïve and scared, she meets Lucian in line and they end up making a deal to help each other win.

When they make it into the final five couples, they face certain challenges. They both have a chance to Dom and submit, and let’s face it, Tara can’t do either. Can they each work together to win this million dollars?

I loved this book. I was so into it that I didn’t realize I was reaching the end. I go to turn the page and it alerts me that I had finished. The last time I had checked my progress I had been about 37%. I never not check my progress!!

Lucian Bane is the actual writer of this book. He does a wonderful job of telling the story of him and Tara and how he finally found the “more” he had been searching for these past few years.

This book was short, but is followed by Dom Wars Round Two. I am already entangled in the pages of that one. Lucian is not just a wonderful writer, but a wonderful person. I follow him on Facebook and love his status updates. He cares for women, he wants to protect them. Just because he’s a Dom doesn’t mean he wants to harm women, as he goes into detail in Dom Wars Round One.
