Wow! I just finished this book and I can’t even process it. It was just so amazing. I originally didn’t want to read these books since they were pretty expensive, at least for me. I bought this one when it went on sale and I was in no way disappointed.
Brynne Bennett moved to London from the United States on a scholarship to the University of London. She works at the Rothvale Gallery preserving precious pieces of art. She also does some nude modeling on the side, which is how she met Ethan Blackstone.
Ethan Blackstone is the head of his own security company. He’s thirty-two years old and runs security for people as high up as the Queen of England. While running security for some people at an art gallery, he meets Brynne. He buys one of her nude portraits and makes his way into her mind.
Brynne is overwhelmed by Ethan, but soon her feelings toward him start to grow. She never thought that with her past she’d be able to find someone that can make her feel the way he does. She’s finally opening up, but then it all comes crashing down.
Raine Miller is a fantastic writer. I just LOVED this book. I cannot wait until Christmas (that’s when my friend is gifting me the other two). I am currently in the middle of fighting this book hangover. I know nothing will compare until I can get my hands on the next two.
Raine, I love your writing. You blew me away with this. I was always hearing such amazing things about Ethan Blackstone and the Blackstone Affair and I was by no means disappointed. If anything, you surpassed my expectations! I can’t wait to read the next two! You go girl!!!
