Temptation

by KM Golland

Bryce Edward Clark

**Mature Content**

Recommended for ages 18+ due to sexual situations and language.

Sometimes being happily married and completely content is not at all what it seems.

That is what 35 year old, happily married mother of two, Alexis Summers finds out when she decides it is time to return to work. After being a stay-at-home Mum for the past nine years, Alexis now realises a complete career change is just what she needs.

She becomes a Concierge Attendant in a prestigious hotel in Melbourne working for the owner of the hotel, Bryce Clark. He resides in the penthouse, is extremely hot, and is a man who always gets what he wants and what he wants is Alexis. She does a relatively good job resisting Bryce at first, but the undeniable chemistry, sexual tension, and playfulness between the two of them is intense. Bryce has copious amounts of money, sex appeal, and above all else, is a genuinely nice guy. Bryce has been waiting for his one true love to come along, and he is positive that one true love is Alexis.

There is one problem, she is happily married to Rick. And, no matter how strong her feelings for Bryce are, she is adamant she will not cheat. She draws a line in the sand but finds it increasingly hard not to cross. Will she succumb to Temptation?

Review by Brittany

Let me start off by saying the first I heard of Bryce Clark was when tallying up the nominations for the top ten boyfriends on the Fictional Boyfriend’s page. I then became interested after many, many people recommended this series to me. I was in no way disappointed! Five stars for this novel!

Alexis Summers is a loving wife and mother of two children. Married to Rick Summers for 12 years. During that time they had two children, Nate who is nine years old, and Charlotte who is six years old. She’s happily married and a stay at home mom, until she decides to go back to work.

Hired as a Concierge Attendant at City Towers, a five star hotel run by Clark Incorporated, Alexis is excited to work again. Her first day on the job is anything but ordinary, though. She starts her day off by spilling coffee on her boss, Bryce Clark.

Bryce Clark has been fascinated with Alexis Summers ever since he read her application for Concierge Attendant. Unable to explain this undeniable pull he has toward her, he does everything in his power to get her close to him, including changing her job to his personal assistant.

Alexis feels a pull towards Bryce as well. How can she not?

“He is the most glorious looking man I have ever seen, and that hair—that clean cut, dark blonde hair that falls just above his ears—I want to touch it. Not to mention those chiseled cheek bones and jaw line, and let’s not forget those eyes, they are probably the most alluring blue eyes imaginable.”

Bryce can have any woman he wants and he wants Alexis. He always gets what he wants. This billionaire has a fight on his hands as he tries to win over this married mother.

KM Golland has wowed me with this novel. The only thing that threw me is that it is written by an Aussie, nothing wrong with that, I promise, just that some things are different than here in the United States. I had to use my dictionary on my Kindle a few times as I was not familiar with some of the terms.

KM also threw in a bit of humor in this novel. While the overall tone of the story is serious, there is some comedic relief, to which I actually laughed out loud. That takes a lot for me to do, you go KM!

I could not put this book down; I read it in a day. I was hooked from the start. It’s been a while since I’ve read one of those books that’s taken over me and I am for sure going to have a book hangover when finished with this series. Let me just say, I hope to meet KM Golland one day. I definitely want her autograph, hopefully on a paperback of this novel. ;)

Again, I gave this novel five stars. I absolutely loved it. I recommend this to all avid romance novel readers. I would hold this up to the ranks of Fifty Shades, Bared to You, and This Man. The next installment in this series is Satisfaction and it’s already out, so if you are one of those people that like to wait for all the books to come out, you’re in luck! All the novels are published!
